The episode starts with some guy spying on the group as they talk of clan history and why the forbidden technique is inbedded in Hotaru’s body. They also learn there’s a way to remove the technique from her body but she isn’t sure she wants that or not. Then Utakada, Naruto, and Sakura go out and talk with Hotaru about it before sending word to Tsunade about the situation.
